DNA sequencing is the process of determining the order of nucleotide bases in DNA. Despite the many advantages of next-generation sequencing (NGS), Sanger sequencing, a first-generation DNA sequencing method, is still widely utilised in clinical genomic labs to confirm the results of NGS and to analyse regions where NGS fails to achieve sufficient depth of coverage or to generate data of high enough quality.

Sequencing results will be sent to the customers via email within three working days of the date samples were received by the lab. Our technical support team can be contacted during office hours in case of any related problems arising. Additionally, our bioinformatics team is also available to promptly analyse and interpret sequencing data and results if requested.

Prior to sequencing the DNA samples sent by the customers, the company evaluates them to check their suitability for this process by determining their concentration and quality. If the samples’ concentration is lower than the required amount for sequencing or they are not of sufficient quality for this process the customer will be notified immediately to resolve this issue. In these cases, the customer will not be charged for the evaluation process and should halt any further payments until the issue is fully resolved.
